Hello There

In May, I am participating in the group exhibition, Hello Again! Recycled Art at the BDAAA's Seippel Center for the Arts. Very exciting, and it's my second opportunity to show work there.
I'll keep updating as the months of waiting unfold.

In the meantime, I am working on my artist packets for other shows in other galleries. Right now that consists of gathering images and grouping them into cohesive bodies. Next week I will start writing another series statement, this time for the Deer pieces. I also want to get another one of those pieces, themselves, finished. I feel like I have been slacking on the deer series in favor of the circles/circle book. I don't appreciate that, so I'm trying to get the book done very fast. If I knew what I was doing in that regard, it could go faster, but alas...so far it has proven to be a quite a frustrating challenge for me.

In the more near future (tomorrow), from 1-3p I will be at a benefit/event with my friend Sue, "Our Milwaukee for Haiti". Sue was asked to develop a public art activity for the benefit, and I will be assisting her. I'll try to sneak some photos tomorrow of the finished product. She always has excellent ideas. This one involves a giant postcard/mural. Further details on the benefit are here.
